Skill Level: Your child knows some Spanish words or none at all.

In this lively and engaging class, children are introduced to the basics of Spanish in a way that feels playful and natural. Through songs, games, stories, and hands-on activities, they will develop a clear, authentic Spanish accent and start building everyday vocabulary they can use right away.

Students will learn greetings, colors, numbers, family, food, weather, and other fun topics that connect to their world. They’ll also begin using simple adjectives and verbs to describe, express, and interact in Spanish. Along the way, children will be introduced to Spanish-speaking cultures and traditions, helping them understand how language and culture go hand in hand.

By the end of Level 1, your child will proudly share words and short phrases in Spanish—laying the foundation for confident communication and a lifelong love of language learning.

Skill Level: Your child knows and understands the vocabulary taught in Beginners 1.

Building on the foundation from Level 1, this class helps children take their Spanish skills to the next level. Students will expand their vocabulary, practice forming longer sentences, and start having short conversations about everyday topics like school, hobbies, family, and food. They’ll continue using adjectives and verbs to express themselves more clearly, while growing comfortable with common sentence patterns.

In addition to speaking and listening, children will also be introduced to early reading and writing in Spanish. Through simple books, stories, and guided writing activities, they’ll see how the words they’ve learned come to life on the page.

Cultural traditions from Spanish-speaking countries remain woven into each lesson, making language learning meaningful and fun. By the end of Level 2, your child will feel proud reading short texts, writing simple sentences, and sharing their thoughts in Spanish with growing confidence.
